Countdown to Patriot Day
Suffice it to say MFG has done enough whining about officiating here, there, and everywhere this football season.
However, the NFL hit its improbable low-water-mark last night during the Patriots’ win over the Vikings. It’s an easy excuse to claim the officials were blinded by the Vikings’ atrocious new uniforms, however, it’s also plainly obvious that the instant replay system, or at least the folks administering it, is completely flawed. Can it honestly be this difficult to become an NFL official? Is it that tough? In the scope of intellectual pursuits, is it: (1) Rocket scientist, (2) NFL Referee, (3) Brain Surgeon? Don’t answer that.
